The first thing you should do is replacing your caffeinated beverage with some regular H2O. Drinking water will not only increase your energy, but you’ll also get a cleaner skin and it will flush toxins from your body. Still craving for something else, a detox smoothie is always a good option.
Secondly, it’s best to eat healthy fats, like avocado or salmon. They help fighting free radicals and will guarantee a greater concentration.
Third, whenever you have a lunch break, a few minutes of brisk walking is a must! When you exercise, it causes your body to release epinephrine and norepinephrine, which are stress hormones that can make you feel more energised.
At 4 o’clock you can always go for some healthy snacking, preferably with nuts. Most nuts contain monounsaturated fat which have a beneficial effect on your heart and reduce your cholesterol levels.
If all of these don’t work, you can always play your favourite song and start a dance party in the office!
