Would you rather stay in bed for another 20 minutes, work out or enjoy a healthy breakfast before going to work? According to a survey in Men's Health Magazine, around half of adults in Great Britain ‘rarely [have] the time to eat a proper breakfast’. This seems a little strange (don't you think) because we all know the saying ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’, and this has proved to be very true.
When writing this blog post, we came across so many articles about skipping breakfast, that we ourselves came to the conclusion that eating breakfast is better for our health. Breakfast eaters tend to have healthier habits. Still, it can not be proven that breakfast itself is the reason for it. But can skipping breakfast also have benefits? Maybe yes, maybe no. Yet the most important thing is to create a healthy lifestyle that works for you.
If you don’t find anything special in eating breakfast, you must find the concept of sharing essential. So why not ordering breakfast? This way you could enjoy your breakfast while sharing your morning thoughts with your colleagues and friends! We have some amazing breakfast platters from only £1 per person. We would personally recommend our little granola pots, they are exquisite!
Here at Salad Days, we all try to eat before we come to work, as we are very busy ensuring the best service for our customers, but we will always find the time to share our stories over some coffee or tea.
